Both men have a woman between them, but her name is not Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
Finn is worried about Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). But he and Liam don’t know that her
life is in peril.
Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) revealed crimes, her matter-of-fact admissions, and Steffy’s seemingly perilous situation would typically mean Wood’s character will join Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul Hollis Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) in the afterlife.
But Steffy is destined to survive in this soapy world and potentially have a choice between her current and last husband.
Being caged doesn’t allow options. So, for the moment, Luna controls Steffy’s existence, and that is scary.
The audience witnessed Steffy implore Luna to release her. But that’s not happening because Steffy realized what Luna did.
Yamada’s character’s admission and detailing of her crimes signal a coming end to this arc. This summer thrill ride has been good, with the surprise reveal of a villain most fans likely did not suspect.
This is a solid storyline, with good plotting, breadcrumb clues, and a believable reveal that can end in various ways. Luna could be arrested and imprisoned, escape, or meet her ultimate demise.
Luna intends to let the apartment building’s demolition do her dirty work. While she puts a killer drug into the drinks of her father, Tom, and apparent friend, Hollis, Luna has a different plan for Steffy.
Purely as an aside, how did that friendship with Hollis develop? Dialogue about Luna being friends with Hollis exemplifies the suspension of disbelief.
That only referenced part of the plot should have been fleshed out through a few instances of Hollis spending quality time with Luna and RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman)
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – John Finn Finnegan Out And Liam Spencer Back In?
Steffy and Liam revolved around each other for years. But Novlan’s addition to the cast spelled an end to the cycle.
Finn is Steffy’s new forever love, or he appears to be. Maybe Liam’s instinct proves true, and Finn is different from Steffy.
When Luna’s story reaches its climax, Steffy will be free and alive. But she must decide if Finn is demonstrating a pattern through the Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) debacle and now by letting Hope into his life.
Steffy’s perspective is being shaped by what’s happening. However, choosing to leave Finn and return to Liam would be a step beyond what the bulk of the audience is probably expecting or wants.
