Worry
Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is a little erratic these days. Well, erratic for her. She kissed Drew (Cameron Mathison)
and tried to avoid the man by quitting the charity. Instead, she returned to nursing. Does she truly still enjoy
nursing? Or was this all about avoidance? Every conversation she has with Drew brings up memories of the kiss and
ignites her crush a little more. Also, and most importantly, she’s hiding this all from her husband.
Finally, Michael (Chad Duell) senses something going on with his significant other. He actually starts to worry about Willow. Worrying is good and fine, but what will he do about it? Because Michael is somebody who always tries to fix things for his wife, whether she wants him to or not. How far is this show going to go with this secret kiss anyway? Is it about to be revealed anytime soon? After all, she has no idea James (Gary James Fuller) knows about the kiss.
Stress
Sonny (Maurice Benard — whose son recently got his driver’s license) always has a stressful life. But his stress is currently through the roof. There’s the immense pressure Cates (Adam Harrington) has added to his plate. If Sonny comes clean about every crime he’s ever committed (so unrealistic), his daughter will go free. There’s the angst over mending the relationships that went sour when he took placebos and not his normal prescription. Now, Carly (Laura Wright) adds to his troubles when she puts pressure on Sonny.
Meanwhile, Anna’s stress levels can’t be any better. She is determined to go through Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to bring Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) home. Once again, Lulu’s health is plummeting, so Charlotte could help with that should the search for Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) prove unsuccessful. So, look for a persuasive Anna (Finola Hughes) to power through any obstacles and help accomplish her goals. However, the question is: who’s the object of her persuasion? Is it Brennan (Charles Mesure) again?
Fear and Anger
In other news, Ava (Maura West) is understandably frightened. Cates left her with a bodyguard/agent who might not be who she seems. Plus, she is solo and has no backup. Sonny told her some truths, and now she has to be thinking that she’s in danger. That Cates wants her dead, or at the very least, he wants her to disappear. So what will a frightened Ava do?
Finally, a fearless Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn — who recently hit the road with Carolyn Hennesy) goes after Cates, who’s proving to be a thorn in her side. He’s ambushed her and her daughter multiple times and prematurely arrested Kristina (Kate Mansi). And just because he’s a federal agent doesn’t mean she won’t give him a piece of her mind. In fact, she and John face off…again. Is this the last time the two will confront each other, lawyer to fed? Or will Alexis have to drag him hard and often until Cates goes down?
