On Thursday, August 28, TLC launched a short teaser, offering fans a peek at Loren’s preparation before flying to the Philippines. It appeared the newbie star was taking his visit seriously, and he was shown making an effort to learn and embrace his girlfriend’s culture. The clip documented Loren cooking in a washroom. He justified that by highlighting the humidity in the Asian country.

“In the Philippines, it’s so humid, you can’t take it,” he told the cameras while stirring a pot. Loren then removed his T-shirt and said he was preparing for the Philippines like “it’s an Olympic sport.” The 90 Day Fiance star began to punch the air and work out to increase the heat in his washroom. He also had three big saucepans set to boil, placed on the toilet and the sink.

Soon, the mirrors in the washroom started fogging up along with the production cameras. “Once you get three pots going, it gets steamy, super hot. I’m going all in on this,” he said during a private confessional. From its looks, Loren was preparing to withstand the humidity of Faith’s country. Moreover, he was cooking Phillipino food, which seemed like another effort to embrace his partner’s culture.
